Monday holiday

As it was australia day on saturday, we all have the day off work today. Happy days! Shouldn't all weekends be three days? What a difference a day makes...

Such a pity that on a holiday Monday Bondi was closed due to the huge swell, and the rain has been bucketing non stop.

After yesterdays disappointing ocean swim race outcome for me, m and I headed out to swim out back through the 7 foot surf. Bondi was closed but north Bondi had a swimming zone marked... There were some pretty huge sets rolling in but I was pleased to make it out and back in one piece.

We invested in a go pro this afternoon, having gone through three waterproof cameras in the last couple of years. Shame we didn't have it to take out this morning... But instead tested it out on a very windy and wet run along the cliffs to the park. Can't wait to use it more!
