Just before dawn

I went for a new kind of adventure, I decided to go to the forest just before dawn at a little bit after 4 o'clock in the morning. It was slightly murky when I entered the path. But the birdsong; it was a concert! I can't say I was scared to go there, but I was definitely very alert. I didn't see anyone while there. Only a few birds on the ground and a hare. Social distancing to the max. 

There had been snowing lightly the day before and it was pretty cool.
