Anxious day

Today was the day Hetty was spayed. It has been planned for a few months and with lockdown we didn’t think it would happen, but yesterday they confirmed they could go ahead.
The vet was great, kept his distance in the car park and Hetty went to him on an extended lead and he clipped his lead on.
We went for a long walk up the hill looking over the town to take my mind of her. I lost my dog around this time last year following an operation so was very worried. We approached these two from behind and the made me jump. No idea why they were there. Hetty has been very quiet since we collected her but she has eaten and walked around the garden and is now sleeping. She had keyhole surgery so can get out walking again in a few days.
