A Turnip for the books ....

A day of cattle work.
Went next door to put a shed full of cows and calves out to the grass. The cows all get a couple of magnesium bolus down their throats to prevent staggers , and their annual BVD vaccination . The calves all get a wormer Bolus which releases a dose to kill stomach worm every 3 weeks throughout the grazing season..
Then it was a mini rodeo to run them all up to a field at the far end of the farm.
It turned wet and cold tonight again for a while- the wonders of a Scottish spring !
