Literally, a moment

I visited my mom today. She is so low - a sinus infection (she tested negative for covid), loneliness, an impending move. We went through some old photos. A poem my father had written for her 27th birthday.. Letters.

When rushing out to pick up food, the wind was blowing, the sun was setting and the blossoms stopped me in my tracks.
