Oakmoss - Evernia prunastri

I believe I am correct identifying this lichen is Evernia prunastri, commonly known as oakmoss.

The rain stopped before lunchtime and I went into the local woods to get some shelter from the wind.
Many lichens are highly sensitive to pollution and in my youth, it was rarer to see as many lichens as abound today.
This one, Evernia prunastri, is able to withstand moderate levels of pollution.
