Wood forget-me-not?

At least I think it is but I’m no expert in these matters. 

I spotted these on the usual walk out to the silver birch woods late morning. They weren’t out a couple of days ago but looked lovely today, there were also strawberries flowering. This snap is a super duper close crop of the original photo as I didn’t have the macro lens with me, so you’ll have to excuse any loss of resolution. 

In the extra you’ll see the kindness of a neighbour. I mentioned that I was after some rooting compound to try and take cuttings from some bushes in the front garden (I tried and they failed without) and lo and behold I now have some. Thank you Pauline!
