Trotting Off Across The Field

Meet Kouros, at just 3 days old he is extremely handsome with exceptionally long legs and a lovely outgoing attitude. After work I went up to the yard just in time to be of assistance to help Kouros and his mum Kiera to be taken out to a grass paddock for the first time. It was a lovely moment to watch them both go trotting off across the field.

Once we spent a warm and fuzzy half hour oooing and aaaahing at them both, it was still warm and light enough to get China in and have a quick ride. We went for a quick hack through the woods, successfully negotiating a very scary bicycle and small child along the way. By the time we had finished, mum and foal were happily tucked up snoozing in their warm stable.
