THE ORKNEY CHAIR
It's a regular work of art - built of scavenged driftwood & local reeds with a wee drawer for the Holy Bible.
It belonged to my great aunt Mary Heddle - she allowed me to sit on/in it - I was 10 years old & found it to be excruciatingly uncomfortable!
Here it's sitting in the porch of the Mill of Eyrland...
Today I at last got some recompense from €urostar (extra) been badgering them for months & while the Trainline & Northlink Ferries did the decent thing straight away - €urostar has come up with an eVoucher!
