Met Brendan Thornhill on the promenade in Bray today. He was the community Garda in Bray for 23 years. He was and is a great asset to the community. Always willing to help and give advice when it is needed. He has a love for the Irish language and culture. And does his best to promote it. I told him I would like to learn Irish and he said he would help me when everything settles down.
