Liberation Day

Liberation Day is very special in Guernsey. Usually we would be in Town for a military parade and service then this year there was going to be a parade of floats which S and I were to be part of one with the Brownies. However, we weren’t going to let it pass. The front of the house is decorating with flags and bunting. The local radio did a great job of special programs and we had afternoon tea - all homemade. We all got dressed up too. A special time together.
