I Cover the Waterfront

Another from Edinburgh's Waterfront.

Did this after dropping daughter at school. Beautiful light but howling gale. freezing and lashing with rain.

This sculpture 'Going to the Beach' portrays a 1950's flat capped father with wife and little son perhaps on his day of from Ferranti's, the Wire Works or Parson's.

It's located in front of the Upper Strand development, a stark white Geary-esque box which perches on the hill overlooking the Forth.

I hope the heating's good.
