That Tree in the morning

I’m quite pleased in a way that this was a “morning”, and thus a *beginning* photo, as looking back through my karate training records I’ve noticed that it was the 7th of May 2017 when I started in earnest practising the kata Empi. Most practice sessions in the ensuing three years I’ve done at least a bit on that kata, and it’s improving; I’m starting to think I can say it’s beginning to get there...

So ... a dawn to symbolise a beginning, and “that tree” for (endless?) repetition.
