Thank you

Thank you for your concern about Abe; it was a pretty tense night and day, but we are happy to have him home. He's sleepy and generally disinterested in anything (apart from boiled chicken, maybe). He turned out to have gastroenteritis, but the vets acted quickly and gave him the care he needed. MrB brought him home at lunchtime. He's slept for the most part and had a little bit of food earlier, which he has kept down so far.

Poor boy. He's been through the ringer in the past 24 hours; but he's home and he's on the mend. 

We are so grateful to have such wonderful vets to be able to care for him, and to have him with us. The fact that he didn't need surgery was pretty great too.
