Nicola comes to play

Had a fabulous, fun filled morning giggling, laughing and eating brownies with Nicola Gilroy from BBC Radio Lincolnshire. She came to record a piece for Valentines' week, so came to experience a 'Chocolate Lovers Course' that I'm offering for couples.

Nicola created Spiced Masala Chai truffles, a heady and sensual infusion of spices, tea and dark chocolate. We had such great fun and its wonderful when you meet someone and feel you've known them forever. Thank goodness for nice jolly peeps, they make up for the miserable moaners and I've encountered a couple of those today - tsk!

The piece will go out in small bites in the week running up to Valentines Day, on Nicola's afternoon show.

Other than that today was bright sunny and UNBELIEVABLY windswept and our garden and road is full of big trees. I think today we were lucky not to see any damage.

Right, just had my last cup of tea for the evening and am in bed feeling cold.

PS: the big plate of brownies was carefully, strategically, planned and placed in order to deflect Nicola's gaze from our busy, eclectic house :-D
