Like a bullet!

Today, I waited and waited for the woodpeckers and saw the female twice. The second time she came back to the nest I focused on the hole in the tree and as soon as she poked her head out I just took multiple shots. I thought I'd missed her but was very pleased to actually get a shot. It isn't pristine sharp but they shoot out of the nest like a bullet!
