Time for a nap..

About mid afternoon the three ladies Marion , Margot and Mabel often do that thing where they tuck up inside themselves and have a power nap, leaving their red combs on display, which maybe is a signal to other hens or predators? Today’s spot was by my feet on the patio in the shade of the table.
