Thursday
... And it's the day the garden gets done, even now when it's not being used by anyone. The lines left on the grass stay for a whole week. The main tree in the picture (which isn't flowering yet) had some severe pruning last year and it's grown back with a much better shape. This is what it looked like in 2016.
I'm not sure where the morning disappeared, but the afternoon pretty much did the same. I had a chat with friend Jessica while G did her last hour on Zoom and then we got the Awana lesson ready to be sent by email. It's fun finding songs to put in it as we inevitably come across a few classic hymns and choruses which are good to be reminded of.
G made toad in the hole for dinner; I think its the first time we've had it this year. It was made to a recipe she found on the internet. The Yorkshire Pudding was really light. And delicious! :)
It's the weekend!
