I have been trying to log on to the inland revenue site for a day or two, but it keeps throwing me out.  This morning I had a 20 web chat with an agent, but at the end the issue was not resoled and I was advised to phone the helpline.  There was a 20 minute wait until I was answered and another helpful person took me through all the possible issues to no avail, it still threw me out of my account.  So he transferred me to another number which rang and rang.  In the meantime I decided to try logging in using Chrome instead of Safari.  Bingo, it worked first time, problem solved and I didn't need to hang on until my third helper answered the phone.  Naomi is having less luck trying to cancel an order for new beds.  Their phones are not answered and they don't reply to emails.  Eventually she did get through someone who told her that she wasn't able to cancel the order herself and she would pass Naomi on to a colleague (sound familiar?).  N hung on the phone for 45 minutes before her call was answered.  Yes, you can cancel your order, said the operative, but I can't do it, you need to email us and wait 30 days to get your money back!  Grrrrrrrr. We will never order anything again from those Bs.
