Reed Reflections

Some nice light to end the day with a light wind blowing ripples onto shore. I placed myself so the reed reflections were vertical in the frame with lines of waves opposing them causing corkscrew distortions.

With the reeds themselves out of shot, the warped illusion is a little disconcerting and I wondered whether I should have included some of them for reference. Setting a shutter speed was another problem because the rate of the wave action kept changing. In the end the resulting abstraction was down to serendipity.
