The North Coast at Last!

With restrictions lifted re driving distance, at last I was able to go to the north coast - just 35 minutes drive away.  And I was allowed to meet a friend - not living in my house- there.  I hate this 'allowed' stuff.  I have been meeting up with a friend at various places (without car sharing) several times in the past few weeks because it was not written down in any 'guidelines' that it shouldn't happen!

The sea was unthinkably blue - I haven't 'enhanced' the colour in this photo.  The sea pinks were amazing.  The wind was stronger than forecast and icy cold - so we wore woolly hats and winter scarves!

The local news was full of stories about packed car parks and busy roads.  Here there were 6 cars in the car park when we arrived and 10 when we left, and the roads weren't busy.
