Rainbow..

I was up in the Pentlands today, where our Exmoor Ponies call home.
They are very lucky ponies - they have the most incredible view of Edinburgh up there. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the Hills of Fife, beyond the Forth Road Bridge.

But today they had a special treat.. In between the showers and sunshine, there was the most gorgeous full rainbow which spanned the Edinburgh Skyline. I couldn't get the whole of it in, and the shot really doesn't give it justice. It was stunning - though the ponies don't seem to be too bothered.. So ungrateful!!

We took the new youngster Carrie out for a 3 hour walk today.. She's currently learning how to be a riding pony, and is doing very well.. She had her first lesson in trotting today!! Such a good girly!

Busy day today - lectures, and then pony malarky followed by a birthday party.. I am very ready for my bed.
