housefinch

Not a great image, but the best of the ones I took, though the window. 

Housefinches aren't all that common here, despite the common sounding name, but there's been a pair around for a week or two. Only distinguished from other little brown jobs by red on the head and breast.  Maybe I just don't have enough patience for bird photography ..
