Blue tits

Today I have had my scheduled day off running and I slept in a little, ensuring I am well rested for tomorrow’s long run. 
 
I headed out to the shops to do our food shopping and it seemed to be very busy today, perhaps people getting ready for the weekend. 
 
The day very much seemed to pass me by today, a little bit of editing, a cycle with my daughter to the lake where we saw some rats – they are very tame and come out and scuttle around a lot. This evening will be having a good dinner to fuel me for my run tomorrow. 
 
We have some blue tits nesting in our garden and I managed to get this lovely photo of the bird coming out of the house. They are very busy at the moment coming backwards and forwards so I think they are feeding their chicks. 
 
A fairly quiet day here but lovely to have good weather, a relaxing restful day before tomorrow.
