Peony time.

The first 2 white ones opened yesterday, a few days ahead of he red variety. Unusually there is no rain in the forecast, because in the past the flowering of the Peonies has coincided with a wet and windy spell, so fingers crossed. A slightly warmer day today but still a chilly breeze in the shade.
I am experimenting poaching  a piece of Monkfish tail in ratatouille for tonight's supper.
