Feeding time for the starling chicks

I heard the newly fledged starling chicks before I saw them. I'm not sure how many but at least two families with typically loud calls.  They have been making the most of the food on offer and the extra shows one at my pond where it had been drinking.

I've had a gardening day but the ground is rock hard with no rain in the forecast.
