Late bloomer

To be fair, it was also a late planter, or at least I was! I kept meaning to plant this amaryllis bulb that mum gave me for Christmas for a while, well, since Dec 25th actually! I only got around to it 3 weeks ago, if that. I’m impressed with it, two stalks with four showy flowers each.
