North south divide

Our gorgeous daughter, Miss H, is celebrating a special birthday today. We do not feel old enough to have a daughter of that certain age, but the dates don’t lie!

I was looking for some Allysum to photograph today, the inspiration for her name, but we didn’t see any, we did how ever see Lilac, Peony, Rhododendron, Bluebells and a very appropriate date stone! I think she will be pleased that we lived in the milder climate  down south when she was born or she could be changing her name by deed poll.
