Unused passing place

A year ago this lovely large passing place was constructed near the end of our drive. Over the past few weeks there has been very little traffic so the passing places on our single track roads have not been used very much. This is obvious from all the detritus that has collected here.

We had some reasonable showers today so I got rather wet when I went to deliver some things to mother-in-law's post box. I was very happy to see that N had the fire lit for my return home and we relaxed with a Friday gnt/whisky, an end of week treat for us which is a remnant from out working days.
