Field verges.

On our walk round the fields today we noticed that the field edges had been crushed. We think a large vehicle has been driven round the edges deliberately to prepare the field for the combine harvesters. It will prevent the harvester picking up the many weeds that flourish round the field edge. We will see how long it is before the harvest. It seems very early in the year!!
