We rocked up.....

Woke about 8, after a good nights sleep.
Breakfast in the summerhouse, whilst we decided where we were going to go today. We had already agreed that we would go out for a little drive today.......the first one since lock down! Southport won the day, as its flat, easy walking for hubs knee & exercise, providing we were happy when we got there.

We were....it was very quiet. Not many car parks open, no hoards of people on the beach thankfully, we felt comfortable enough to walk along the front, got our 10k steps in. Even bought a takeaway coffee, ordered through a hatch and delivered to a table outside, well organised. We spotted this huge mural as we walked along the coastal road, its newish, definitely wasnt there last time we visited a few months back, as far as I recall, but isnt it great?!!! Ive added an extra as I was torn between Red Rum and the old buildings on Lord Street.....if you look closely you will see a man and child on their fabulous little balcony.

I used my mask....it makes my glasses steam up lol when we stopped off at a farm for some fruit n veg on the way home.

Back home early afternoon so a late dinner. An hour reading in the summerhouse, then hub disappeared indoors for the update. I faffed around watching some of my fav artists on Youtube for a while.......Fleetwood Mac Chains and Tusk :-))))

Before we realised it was 6.45 and time for tonights zoom quiz with our next door neighbours....a better performance tonight, but still only 8th of 18 :-/

Late dinner was griddled steak, with onions, tomatoes, asparagus and half a jacket potato each.......really good, washed down with a bottle,of Merlot :-)

Weve had a good laugh at Gogglebox tonight, sooo funny!!!
