Looking at your fifty year retrospective, is there a major concern that seems evident in all your work?
No, I don't analyse my work in those terms.

Oh, I do. I tear it to shreds. I'm very hard on myself.

Is it an intuitive process?
Yes, I think it is largely.

What are you looking for?
