Nothing but trees

Where I live we are surrounded by these very tall trees. You really can't see for the trees!

In 2011 we had a bad drought which left behind thousands of hazardous trees throughout the community. During 2012 over 25,000 of these trees were removed and they are still counting. Its a continual job.

On a very windy day like today I find myself looking up, as they sway, creak and crack in the wind. It's a little scary thinking one might fall at any time, especially on the tree-lined cycle to school!!
