Day 54 Scented stocks

These beautiful scented stocks were a gift from daughter #1, who popped by after collecting her meds from the pharmacy.  She also brought welcome bread, a loaf  and rolls.  We have had the mystery of the missing loaf going on here for a couple of weeks.  Our milkman delivers a loaf every Wednesday, delivery time around 4.30am, but for the last two Wednesdays the loaf has disappeared by the time we get round to taking it in.  The first week , the loaf was gone, but not the brown paper bag it is put in and this week both loaf and bag.  Some have said it might be foxes, but if so they must be very clever, tidy foxes, who take without checking the contents first!.  We're going to try a different place and a box to put it in this coming week.
Not much else to report today.  The debate over schools opening in England on 1 June continues, with no resolution today.  However the BMA has stated that it is 'fully aligned' with the teachers' unions' opposition to opening schools so early.
