Surfing at "The Farm"
After lunch I drove over to the Killalea State Park, hoping to photograph some White Headed Pigeons that I saw feeding in a big fig tree a couple of days ago. Alas, they weren't there, so I continued down the road to Killalea Beach (known locally as "The Farm", as back in the 1960s it could only be accessed via a dairy farm).
There were quite a few surfboard riders in the water, so I thought I'd see if I could capture some of the action. I attached my longest lens and positioned myself on a rocky point that afforded a view parallel to the breaking waves (see the map), and this is the best of my efforts.
