Superintendent's House

Designed by John Dobson, this house, belonging to the Newcastle & Gateshead Water Company, dates back to 1848. It overlooks one of the seven reservoirs at Whittle Dene (see extra). If you zoom in, you can see the 3 castles on the coat of arms for Newcastle upon Tyne.

So nice to get out for a walk somewhere different (15 mins drive), even though the weather was changing and quite a wind was 'getting up'!
