Advance earthworks for the new HS2 terminal in north east Leeds are progressing well. :-)

An extra of Finlay being silly in the beck...normally he will stand right in the water for a drink. Today just his front paw went in.

In other news - after travelling to work the other day with Mrs madwill I noticed a knocking sound coming from the front of her car... investigations today found that one end the mounting bracket for the wipers had snapped and was hanging free ... hence the knocking as we moved. As the part is almost £200 (if you can get one at the moment)... I decided to have a go at fixing it. I had some ‘steel epoxy’ resin in the garage so with a combination of that, a small piece of steel plate and some galvanised steel wire I have managed to glue, wedge and tie the pieces together. A quick test drive confirmed that the knocking had gone..got wait until tomorrow to test the wipers as the resin needs to cure to set solid.
