Carry On, Don't Lose Your Head

You'll be relieved to know this isn't the result of some dark, Satanic ritual at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, just one of about half a dozen headless scarecrows in one of the fields we passed on our walk this afternoon.

Other than this gruesome offering, today has been another typical lockdown day: the weekend shop this morning after the family Zoom catchup and a walk this afternoon.

While we were preparing dinner tonight, we listened to today's Lockdown Long Player, the eponymous debut record by the Q Tips, the British soul band in which Paul Young made his name as lead singer. Here they are performing the first track on Side 1, "Some Kinda Wonderful":
