Brig 'O Doon
Ventured off in a different direction today and headed up stream along the Doon. The woodland is lush and noisey with bird song.
I then walked along the old railway line which is now a walkway/ cycle path so that I could get this photograph. I have published it before on blip. I'm standing on the old railway bridge over the Doon looking up to the ' new' road bridge and tucked in behind it the Old Brig made famous by the Robert Burns poem about Tam O' Shanter.
Then I decided to cut down onto my usual stretch of beach by ' the Castle'.
I encountered 2 Twitchers' who had fantastic cameras with camouflage lenses capturing white throat and black cap Warblers. ( Who knew?)
Satisfying walk.
