CHILDS VIEW

As a child Dearest was picked up in Ryhope Village just to the south of Sunderland by a Chauffeur in a large posh car and taken to spend the summer holidays with her Aunts Lidia & Eva to Fosse Beck at the bottom of Bewerley in Nidderdale, Lidia was the housekeeper for a shipping solicitor who's daughter went to Rada with some star from the 40's, the name escapes me, anyway I'm drifting from the point, this is the view she had every morning, it's changed little over the years and holds a special place in our lives, lovely to get there again today, no crowds gathering around Pateley Bridge, mind we didn't leave the house till after four. Hope love enjoyed the wonderful weather, lets hope it continues.
