Crock pot/slow cooker bread!

Since we have been without a kitchen the only thing I have been struggling with is baking a good rustic bread with a crispy crust.  I didn't want to buy a toaster oven as we will have no use for it after the kitchen remodel.  The crock pot/slow cooker made a good bread but it had a soft crust, I put a cotton kitchen town on the top of the pot before I put the lid on, and it collect all the moisture!  It is still not a crusty as the oven, but this is completely acceptable. 

The next challenge was making an acceptable still life for my class again today, I find every prop I want to include is packed away....
