Fallout

I was up bright and early this morning as it is peak migration time and we had a lot of rain and wind yesterday morning and then last night. A fallout of migratory birds was expected and I was not disappointed!  Only the sound of children made me go  home after 4 hours!

In total, I saw roughly 85 different bird species....with at least 12 being warblers.  Absolutely amazing!! This is a Black-Throated Green Warbler.  Isn't he handsome?
