The Collar Dove

This character was waiting to come down to feed but caught site of me through the window. They are very timid,cautious birds.
It was the way it just stood a watched?

Nikon D800 +Sigma 150-500mm @ 750mm in DX Mode 1/80 @f8 ISO 200

I don't think I've mentioned it before,but I find Spot metering on the D3 and D800 give far better exposure and A/F ( on single point )control?
