Another one having a good year

Today's walk in the Abbey meadows, they've never seemed so busy on a Sunday morning. These meadows are usually grazed by about twenty young cattle but they've not been here since last Autumn's rains made the ground too wet. I suppose that this could partially account for the profusion of wild flowers.
