What's your beef?

A walk down to try and see the alpacas this afternoon but they must have been in their back field which isn't visible from the road.  However, we passed this herd of cows; there were several small calves in amongst the cows and in the middle at the back is a rather magnificent bull.  When we stood watching he ambled over towards us and at first I thought he was wanting to see us off, but it turned out he just wanted to scratch his back on the overhanging trees.
