Our National Day May 17th.

Our National day has, except for the WW2 years, the last 150 years been celebrated all over the country, until today the Covid 19 year. The «celebration» today became, however, a worthy celebration thanks to the Royal family and how they greeted the people. Singing with us and driving around in their old open roof cars surprisingly visiting people at eldery homes in Oslo. Not many people in the streets though. All on TV.  1PM sharp the Royal family and the rest of us were singing our anthem standing in front of our TV`s.  Mrs B and I were singing too at our summerhouse. No National costumes on. Mrs B had made a lovely cake with strawberries for us though. Children and grandchildren celebrated in Oslo. Josefine proud in her first National costume (Extra). Wish you a good new week.
