It was a bit of a struggle...

...to find a suitable subject to blip today, until we spotted this Mistle Thrush in a meadow next to the footpath. 

The wildlife had been generally hiding, probably because of the amount of noisy human traffic around. This was exemplified as I was about to take another shot of the bird, as I crept closer. It was probably obvious to everyone what I was doing but that didn't stop a stupid cyclist who came from nowhere across the field and sped between me and where the bird had been. Rant over - until the next time.
