Christmas Past

My blip represents a very sad looking Christmas Tree lying forlorn on the ground by a refuse bin and still waiting to be collected

Our exercise today was in the nearby village of Kilmersdon - it is said to be the home of the nursery rhyme Jack and Jill

Jack and Jill went up the hill 
To fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down and broke his crown
And Jill came tumbling after …………..

Somerset is interesting in that there are two other nursery rhymes reputed to come from the area - Ring a Ring of Roses - Holcombe and
Little Jack Horner the village of Nunney
