Piebald Mallard

I ventured down to the canal this morning before anyone was about, some new paths have been laid and new fences erected yet the area I go to watch birds looks a bit neglected.  I didn't go into the enclosure just in case other people arrived but it was nice to be back, although I didn't see much in the way of birds or wildlife.  All the same I'm glad I went for a look but it doesn't quite feel like the place I know and love.

We've had a quiet day and I've promised myself that tomorrow that I'll get down to doing some jobs around the house.  Thank you for the response to yesterday's blip, I'm pleased you like it.
