2020 Saturday — Chloe is Hiding
I know this is not a quality photo, but it captures the image I wanted.
Even though she is a canine, Chloe was being a “scaredy-cat” because Mr. Fun was hammering a little bit so that he could “anchor” our big book cases so they won’t tip and fall over in an earthquake.
Any unusual noise in the house either causes our pups to bark or run to hide. Chloe thinks she is hiding; she doesn’t understand or have a clue that her cute little backside is visible for us to see. I wish it were that easy to hide when I am afraid or scare.

The emotions here at Funville are out of control — we go from mad to sad in less than 3 seconds ... and we manage to do hopscotch on all the other emotions during the in between seconds.
We had a good appointment at Kaiser Medical facility Friday morning (yesterday) with the main nurse/coordinator in the prostate dept and I think we’ll be okay, but we’re waiting for more test/treatment results of Mr. Fun’s Prostate Cancer. “Knowing” we’ll be okay and “believing” are two different things (like knowing Jesus lived is different than believing and dedicating my life to Him).
So tensions are high here. If we’re fortunate we’ll make it to our 55th anniversary in 12 days.
Our SoCal house is very comfortable and I am thankful for that; we continue to get a few more tasks done each time we are here for a few days, like getting the big bookcases anchored to the walls yesterday. Now we can arrange some books.
That’s the news from
Funville in SoCal,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi
